SUBCON 2021 – are you going?
August 11, 2021
With just over a month to go until our long awaited return to the NEC to exhibit at Subcon 2021, 14th – 15th September, we thought it was time to provide you with all the details surrounding the event.
Subcon brings together the UK’s manufacturing supply chain under one roof. It provides the ideal environment for procurement teams to source new suppliers for their projects, benchmark existing suppliers and build new relationships. It showcases the very best in UK manufacturing and provides the opportunity to meet with global suppliers from over 20 countries.
We’ve learnt so much over the last 18 months and adapted our ways of working to work remotely but we’ve so missed the opportunity to talk face to face and meet new people.
The show hosts over 250 exhibitors and is co-located with The Engineer Expo and Manufacturing Management Show.
Here is what you need to know:

Planning your visit

However, you choose to walk around the hall make sure you don’t miss a key supplier by looking at the exhibitor list ahead of your visit so that you can plan your day. The full list of exhibitors can be found here.
We are located at stand E69
Safety Measures
The event is being operated in line with the latest Government guidance.
From the 19th July 2021 the relaxation of measures in England permit this face to face event to take place. It is no longer mandatory to wear a face covering in public settings. However, the organisers are asking that you carry a mask with you at all times and be courteous to those around you and ask that you wear the mask in busy areas and where sessions are taking place in enclosed spaces. Wearing a mask in quieter areas is entirely at your own discretion.
Our team will have masks and visors for their personal use. We will also ensure a supply of face masks is available for visitors. As experts in hygiene we will also have hand sanitiser dispensers available for use on our stand.

Contacts
Our main contact for the event is Adrian Hyland our Business Development Manager. Adrian has a wealth of experience in this sector. It all started when he was working on the shop floor for a company in Liverpool manufacturing Mining Locomotives, from there he moved into the estimating team. When an opportunity arose in sales due to a retirement he put himself forward and agreed a ‘trial run’ in sales, now nearly 40 years later we think he’s proved himself!
Over the years Adrian has built up considerable knowledge of metal work and fabrication across many industry sectors so whatever your engineering requirement might be Adrian will be able to help bring your projects to life at Dudley Industries.
Adrian can be contacted at 07798 731011.
